GGet ready for our 2016 China workshops
Last year, we had great success with our workshops held in China, Japan and South Korea. It was such a success that we are inundated with enquiries to attend the 2016 workshops.
Well, we have some exciting news. Travel Trade Workshops in China are well underway and we once again call upon Team South Africa to get ready for yet another exciting business adventure with our partners in China.
Our China office continues to play a critical facilitation role for business travel exchanges between our inbound operators and suppliers in China and Hong Kong. Hence we’ve arranged trade workshops that will help South African suppliers showcase their products and give exposure to their new offerings.
Are you looking to network and consolidate your new business and trade opportunities? Then this workshop is right up your alley and will definitely help boost confidence in China as a destination for outbound operators and travel agents.
In each city, we’ll be inviting regional tourism authorities to join in. We’re sure they will add value to the experience with unique and relevant learnings in our quest for the right information. This will enable us as South African Tourism to give our guests the full South African experience on their home turf.
During the workshops, exhibitors will get first-hand information and offerings supplied by South African trade partners. This way, good business opportunities will be explored and a win-win situation can be achieved.
If it’s anything like last year, you can expect around 200 visitors in Beijing and around 100 in Xi’an, Hangzhou and Guangzhou.
Where is it happening?
This year, we’ll be hosting workshops in 4 locations around China, namely Beijing, Xi’an, Hangzhou and Guangzhou. These workshops are completely trade business in style and are bound to have a multi-sensory impact, making participation not only fun, but memorable, too.
Who can participate?
South African Travel Trade (ADSPartners), Regional Tourism Authorities, Hotel Corporations and tourism related services i.e. Diamonds and Wines.
What does it cost?
The cost will be R12,000 excluding accommodation and airfares per participant per company. Take note, additional participants from the same company will pay half at R6,000. Only two people per company may attend.
This covers:
- Trade workshops
- Lunch/cocktail snacks during the programme
- Transfer between airport and hotel
