TThe role of National Conventions Bureau (NCB) is to maintain sustained growth of the number of international business events (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) attracted to South Africa (SA). NCB specifically focuses on promoting the country as an attractive destination to the lucrative business events market. NCB further coordinate and support bidding for these international events. The development of a bidding support programme is part of the SANCB’s strategy to grow the nation’s business events industry and is key to SA’s competitiveness.
