Overview
SSurrounded by the Zwartkoppies hills, on the banks of the Crocodile River just half an hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria, rests Avianto - a European-inspired village that has established itself as creative stimulus for gorgeous wedding celebrations focused team-building conferences, glittering functions, and intimate getaways. Avianto consists of our Village Hotel, the well-known Banquet Hall with its charming and beautiful non-denominational chapel, a magnificent ballroom, the Fireside Room for a more intimate function, and the state-of-the-art conference centres, comprising seven separate conference rooms and a lounge. More recently the Hotel has become the central node of the greater Avianto Lifestyle estate. This mixed use development, with all approvals in place, will expand to cover over 250 Ha of land. This will have some 1800 residential opportunities in a mixture of luxury homes on freehold stands, sectional title, retirement units and even some affordable units for those working within the estate. These residential nodes will be separately secured but enjoy direct access to the hotel and secured public offerings. This would include 2 km of botanical parklands along the Crocodile river with numerous sporting facilities on offer including MTB and running trails, tennis and squash courts, foot golf and action soccer. Offices along with a small retail node and a medi-clinic are included in the planning and the pre-school phase of the Gr 000 to Gr 12 Maragon private parallel medium school opens in 2015.
