Overview

BBancroft B&B is in Hilton, in the forested hills above Pietermaritzburg, the capital of Kwazulu-Natal. With its beautiful Georgian façade Bancroft offers 2 extremely comfortable, well appointed, luxury B&B suites accommodating 6 people in a homely environment with a loved garden.
The Family Suite has 2 bedrooms, the Master Bedroom with a King size bed, the other with twin beds, sharing an en-suite bathroom with a bath, hand shower, basin and toilet. This spacious, cool Suite accommodates 4 persons, and overlooks the gardens and rock pool.
The Double Suite has one bedroom with twin beds. The en-suite has a large shower, toilet and basin. Facing the morning sunrise this suite has a pretty garden outlook.
Both suites have DStv, wireless internet, a hospitality fridge, fans a heater and tea and coffee facilities.
Breakfast is the highlight of the day! We serve fresh fruit juice with a choice of 5 cereals or hot oats. A fruit, yoghurt, honey and muesli platter then a full English breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, or any variation you fancy! We endeavour to cater for special needs and preferences. Then, of course there is toast, jams and bottomless tea and coffee.
We are a non smoking and non drinking establishment. We have pets.
Bancroft B&B is centrally situated and easily found on the R103 and within 2kms of some good restaurants.
Ryan our son takes Off Road Motorbike Tours from Bancroft straight into the forest behind us almost to Lesotho completely off road, visiting some of the most breathtaking spots imaginable.
So many places to visit so near by. The Midlands is as it says - the middle of everything!
