Overview

NNestled in the magnificent malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, Etali Safari Lodge has earned a reputation for offering our guests a unique bush experience wherein nature, relaxation and luxury combine to form an unforgettable experience. All suites have indoor and outdoor showers, air-con, fireplaces, a complimentary minibar and a private deck with heated whirlpool.

Etali Safari Lodge is an exclusive, intimate haven built in harmony with nature from rugged indigenous stone, thatch and wood – all laced together by a series of winding walkways. Set in the heart of the spectacular malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, Etali offers the ultimate in seclusion with just eight romantic suites.

Africa’s Big 5, the African wild dog (the world’s most endangered canine), as well as black and white rhino, cheetah, giraffe and many other wildlife species can be seen on the Madikwe Plains at any given time. Every day in the bush brings a new experience.

Guests can enjoy the exciting unpredictability of early morning and afternoon game drives - a leopard sitting on a rock licking his paws - the black rhino with attitude - the watchful matriarch elephant, bigger than you ever imagined - a pride of lions relaxing in the shade ...  In-between game drives, relax and be pampered in the tranquillity of the Wellness Centre or enjoy the sheer pleasure of a massage on your own sundeck.
