Overview
WWaterkloof Guest Farm is located on a working farm at the foothills of the majestic Swartberg Mountains. The area is malaria-free with fantastic climate. We provide a self-catering house with three bedrooms (1 double bed and 8 single beds) that can sleep up to ten guests. All the rooms have fans and heaters. The house consists of a fully equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge, defreeze esc.), two private bathrooms (with shower and bath) and a spacious lounge area with a TV. (Bring your decoder for DSTV access.) There is a lovely braai area and safe under-cover parking available. All linen and towels are provided. Tamed wildlife roams freely along with domesticated animals on the working farm. We farm with ostriches, cattle, sheep, Angora goats and vegetable seed. Taking day walks on the farm, jogging or cycling across the countryside, explore the mountain bike and hiking trails. Waterkloof is a bird watching paradise. Relax and enjoy the breath taking views of the Swarberg and Kammanassie   Mountains. The clear night skies, bright stars and silence truly unique to the Klein Karoo makes a visit to this extraordinary beautiful farm more than a worthwhile experience. Meiringspoort Pass ±15 km drive from Waterkloof. Sailing, canoeing and fishing is possible on the Stompdrift Dam, ±8 km from us. Explore the region (Oudtshoorn, De Rust, Swartberg Pass) and came home to a peaceful night’s sleep that one can only find in the tranquillity of the gentle farm life.
