Tlopi tent at Marakele National Park in Nylstroom, Limpopo

If you are looking for a full bush experience, then Tlopi tented camp at Marakele National Park in Limpopo is fitting. The area is close to the Big 5. If you are lucky you may spot a few elephants drinking water at the river. Each tent has two beds, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can take in the beauty of the area as they laze around on the deck kitted with chairs and a table. Barbecue facilities are available.

TThanda Safari in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal

The Tented Camp at Thanda Safari takes luxury to the next level. The cosy tent has twin beds, a bathroom, outside shower and a pretty terrace that overlooks stunning forest views. With minimal electricity and lighting, this is ideal for travellers who want to enjoy camping with an added touch of glamour. If you are lucky, you may hear the hyena or a big cat at night.

TTamboti tented camp at Satara Camp, Olifants, Mpumalanga

Tamboti tented camp is a small camp situated on the banks of the Timbavati River on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park. The tents have a fridge, a standing fan and a small veranda.  Communal ablutions and communal kitchens are also available. Some of the highlights include seeing the Tamboti trees, baboon, black-backed jackal and the blue wildebeest. Guests have ultimate privacy but can also enjoy the company of other guests at the boma.
