GGary Player, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers ever, took great pride in designing the Gary Player Country Club and Lost City Golf Course, both of which are located at the splendid Sun City resort in South Africa.

Serious golfers who haven't yet visited Sun City in South Africa's North West Province should start planning their trip as soon as possible. The Gary Player Country Club and the Lost City Golf Course are 2 big names you really want to add to your list of courses played.

The Gary Player Country Club Golf Course, which was designed by the South African golf legend himself, hosts the annual Nedbank Golf Challenge, which attracts the biggest names in golf.

Gary Player, who has won more than 160 tournaments in his professional golfing career of 6 decades, has also designed more than 300 courses around the world, with the golf courses at Sun City regarded as 2 of his best. Both courses are challenging par-72s and both are guaranteed to challenge even the most experienced golfer.

The Gary Player Country Club is one of the longest courses in the world, covering a total distance of around 7km.

Both courses feature excellent scenery, with the Pilanesberg mountains providing a picturesque backdrop.

The 13th hole of the Lost City is well-known for its water hazard, which is home to nearly 40 crocodiles.
