SSAT Golf Travel Deals Promo – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions outline the rules for participation in the South African Tourism Golf Travel Deals Promo. The campaign is organised by South African Tourism (SAT) to promote golf and travel experiences in South Africa to the Kenyan audience. The official travel partners are: iXplore Africa, Peaks of Africa and Legend Tours.
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Travel Deals Promo Terms and Conditions
- SAT is a Destination Marketing Organisation, not a travel agency; our approved Travel partner operators fulfil bookings.
- As part of the Travel Deals Promo, South African Tourism (SAT) will award a limited number of Golf Hampers (“Hampers”) to qualifying bookings.
- The promotion is open only to Kenyan residents who make a qualifying booking through the campaign Instant Page or official travel partner booking channels during the promotion period.
2. Eligibility & qualifying bookings
- A qualifying booking is a confirmed booking of any featured South African golf travel deal during the promotional booking window and paid in full (or as per partner payment terms) at the time of booking.
- Each booking qualifies for one (1) Hamper only. Multiple bookings by the same person may be eligible for separate processing if each booking meets all criteria.
- Bookings made outside the promotional booking window, bookings cancelled, or bookings that do not meet partner terms do not qualify.
- Bookings must be made between 1 and 30 November 2025 on the approved travel partner’s platform.
3. Quantity & allocation
- Only 100 Hampers are available for this promotion. Hampers will be allocated to the first 100 qualifying bookings received.
- The promotion will close on 30 November 2025 or once all Hampers have been allocated, whichever occurs first. SAT will publish a closure notice on the campaign landing page once all Hampers are distributed
4. Hamper contents & value
- Hampers contain branded South African Tourism golf merchandise (e.g., golf cap, golf towel, golf glove, water flask, golf tees & balls). Exact contents may vary.
- Approximate retail value of each Hamper is R1000 (subject to exchange rate fluctuations). This value is for disclosure purposes only and may not reflect actual retail pricing.
- SAT reserves the right to substitute items of equal or greater value if any component is unavailable.
5. Notification & fulfilment
- Eligible customers will be notified via the contact details supplied with their booking within 14 days of booking confirmation.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring that their contact details are accurate at the time of booking. SAT and Tour Operators are not responsible for failed notifications due to incorrect or outdated information.
- Hampers will be issued on arrival in South Africa. Delivery timelines may vary depending on the tour operator's logistics or public holidays.
- SAT shall not be liable for any delays, omissions, or delivery issues arising from partner tour operators. Tour Operators are independently responsible for delivering Hampers to eligible participants.
6. Non-transferable / no cash alternative
- Hampers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. No substitutions except at SAT’s discretion.
7. Taxes, duties & additional costs
- Any applicable taxes, duties, or import charges on the Hamper (if applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient.
8. Cancellation & changes
- If a qualifying booking is cancelled or materially changed such that it no longer meets promo criteria, the Hamper allocation will be revoked and reallocated to the next qualifying booking.
- SAT reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Hamper promotion at any time for operational or legal reasons.
- SAT reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, manipulation, or misuse, including but not limited to duplicate bookings, false information, or unauthorised resale of Hampers.
9. Liability & warranty
- SAT accepts no liability for any late, lost, damaged, or stolen Hampers once dispatched to the Tour Operator. Any claims for damaged items must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
- SAT makes no warranties (express or implied) as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any item in the Hamper.
10. Data & privacy
- By entering this promotion and accepting a Hamper, recipients consent to SAT using their booking/contact details to notify winners, fulfil Hampers, and for promotional communications related to the campaign.
- Personal information will be processed in accordance with South African Tourism’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.southafrica.net/za/en/travel/page/privacy-policy.
- By participating, entrants consent to cross-border data transfer between Kenya and South Africa for fulfilment purposes.
11. Force Majeure
- SAT and travel partners shall not be liable for failure to fulfil rewards due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or travel restrictions.
12. Disputes & governing law
- This promotion is governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. However, all matters relating to travel fulfilment, redemption, or claims arising within the Republic of South Africa shall be subject to South African law. Any disputes arising from this promotion shall first be addressed through written correspondence to South African Tourism (africa@southafrica.net) before any legal proceedings.
- South African Tourism acts solely as the organiser of this promotional campaign and is not a party to any travel contract between the participant and the approved travel partner.
- Participation in the Travel Deals Promo constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
