TThere can be a few better ways to enjoy the lush greenery and spectacular scenery of Limpopo's Waterberg region than leaping out of a plane and rushing towards it in an unforgettable freefall from thousands of metres in the air. Skydive Extreme will show you how.
Humanity has always looked to the sky in envy of birds soaring effortlessly above, longing to emulate this ultimate freedom. While you’re not likely to sprout wings, you can still come pretty close to experiencing the joy of flight by going skydiving in Limpopo's Waterberg region.
FFeel the surge of adrenaline as you step out of a light aircraft and float on a cushion of air, surrounded by nothing but blue sky.
Skydiving in the Waterberg
SSkydive Xtreme is the only skydiving tour operator in Limpopo and is based out of the Modimolle Airport.
Their tandem skydive is the safest way to experience the adventure of a lifetime, and experienced instructors are on hand to take care of you every step of the way.
You’ll also be able to capture your personal experience and brag about it to your friends and family thanks to a professional video, DVD and still photography services provided.
TThe aircraft used is a Cessna 206T that is type-certified (SACAA approved) specifically for skydiving. The crew is also highly-trained, and safety is taken very seriously.
Don’t make your skydive all about you, bring your family and friends along to enjoy a braai at the pool so they can share in your aerial exploits. Overnight facilities are available should you wish to spend more time in this beautiful part of the country.
Apart from tandem skydiving, Skydive Xtreme also offers static line courses, an Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) programme, formation skydiving, free-flying, wing-suiting, tracking dives and canopy swooping.
So get out your bucket list, tick off skydiving and head for the drop zone.
