Overview
IIs a highlight for visitors to Port Elizabeth. This is home to the largest breeding colony of African penguins – there are over 20 000 of them. Bottlenose dolphins are also often spotted from the boats, and sea birds, shipwrecks and Cape fur seals will probably all make an appearance. Raggy Charters, in combination with the Baywatch Marine Conservation Project, offers expertly guided whale-watching, dolphin-watching and African penguin-watching cruises in South Africa. Raggy Charters is the only licensed boat-based whale and dolphin watching permit holder in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. If you are as committed to wildlife as the Raggy Charters team of Algoa Bay, then book an exciting and educational Penguin Patrol day out. Not only will you get to see animals in their natural habitat but you also get to experience how they are saved and rehabilitated. It is an early morning start with a boat trip in search of as much wildlife as possible, and then the rest of the day is filled with a visit to SAMREC and Bayworld!
