SSouth Africa’s highest mountain range has exceptional scenic beauty and is the perfect place for hiking, exploring rock art, rock climbing, abseiling and more. It’s hard not to stare in wonder at the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park’s beautiful surrounds that include Cathedral Peak, Giant's Castle and Monk's Cowl. An impressive highlight of this park is its Amphitheatre, which has a rock wall that’s 5km in length and 1000m high – it’s quite a sight. It’s not just the incredible scenery that visitors can enjoy, there’s plenty to do to exercise one’s body. – try hiking, rock climbing or fly-fishing. For those eager to experience the bush, there are several game reserves in the area sprawling with African antelope and other wildlife.
