South African Tourism invites applications from industry partners interested in participating as stand sharers at upcoming international tradeshows during the 2023/24 financial year. Below is a list of the platforms where South African Tourism will be present:
The platforms are as follows:
- Arabian Travel Market 2023 in Dubai (6 – 9 May 2024) (Download the Application Form here)
- IMEX Frankfurt 2023 in Germany (14 - 16 May 2024) (Download the Application Form here)
Please express your interest by completing the relevant form/s for the show/s you wish to attend. Ensure you review and adhere to the terms and conditions, including payment terms, during the application process. Familiarise yourself with the travel and visa requirements for the respective countries to avoid any delays in obtaining necessary documents. This is to eliminate late cancellations which will result in a 100% penalty fee.
It is crucial to note that international shows have adjusted their participation costs in line with each country's inflation rate. To support the sector's recovery, South African Tourism will continue subsidising the participation fees for interested tourism businesses. This is part of South African Tourism’s efforts towards ensuring a complete and inclusive recovery of the sector, by enabling tourism partners to participate at global platforms to showcase their offerings to global audiences.
Please note that participation is not guaranteed, all submissions will go through a selection process before confirmation is granted. A confirmation letter will then be issued accordingly once you are approved.
The submission deadline is Friday, 22nd March 2024.
