IIf you haven’t yet downloaded the official app for Meetings Africa 2018, it’s not too late. The app offers a number of primary functions, including the ability to pre-select exhibitors you wish to see, network with other participants by logging into the Business Matchmaking profile to request and view scheduled meetings and earn points to win prizes. The app is available for Android and Apple devices. Visit http://get.lumishow.com to download the latest Lumi Event app from your relevant app store. Mobile devices not supported will automatically be redirected to the web version of the app.
Once downloaded, users should open the Lumi Event app and search for “MA2018” in the search bar. When prompted, tap on the “+” button next to the Meetings Africa logo to add the event. The login process requires a name and surname, as well as an email address and password. Once submitted, users will have access to the full Meetings Africa event schedule.
For Meetings Africa 2018, the app has been gamified, which means anyone can earn points for completing certain tasks from within the app. These activities include tweeting, posting a photo, sending an in-app message, adding documents to the “My Briefcase” module, adding favourite exhibitors to “My Exhibitors”, writing a note or completing a survey.
To save time, users may pre-select the exhibitors they wish to visit by going to “Exhibitors” and scrolling through the full list to view profiles and more. Simply tap on the “+” button to add an exhibitor, which can be accessed in the “My Exhibitors” module. The “Business Matchmaking Diary” is key as it allows exhibitors and buyers to schedule meetings from within the app.
