MMeetings Africa 2016 will be abuzz with knowledge sharing and networking opportunities, and the best way to navigate these is by downloading and using the intuitive Lumi Show app.

The Lumi Show app is your single source of everything you need to know while at Meetings Africa, about delegates and where they located at the show, as well as events you may want to attend. It also enables you to message other delegates, and send, store or bookmark pictures and information.

The great features on the Lumi Show app include:

Game Centre: A gamification module will incentivise attendees to get actively involved during Meetings Africa. The following elements will be active during Meetings Africa:

  • Send a Tweet from within the app
  • Upload a photo to the app
  • Download a document to My Briefcase
  • Add an exhibitor to My Exhibitors

The Activity Feed: Gathers the latest updates from the Agenda, Gallery and Announcements modules, along with tweets into a single information feed.  Be sure to check this throughout Meetings Africa for information.

Hosted buyers: This feature will provide you with the ability to view your business matchmaking calendar. Log in using the credentials that you received from the Business Matchmaking Team.

Attendees: Search and scroll the Attendee module to locate attendee details and connect via email or in app messaging using the Messaging module.  You can control your privacy settings via the My Profile module.

Exhibitors: The Exhibitor module allows you to search and browse exhibitor profiles and contact information.  You can also find the exhibitor’s stand location on a map of the venue when combined with the Interactive Map module. See exhibitors that you like? Be sure to add them to your My Exhibitor module in the app for future reference.

My Exhibitors: My Exhibitors allows you to 'bookmark' their favourite exhibitors and create a personalised list of exhibitors that you want to connect with before, during or after the event.  The list can also be shared by email.

Contact Exchange: Use this module to exchange detailed contact information with each other using a PIN code or QR code.  Reporting of attendees that have exchanged contact details can also be provided.

Gallery: The Gallery module allows attendees to take photos of the event to upload and share.  All photos must first be approved by event organisers before they are available to view in the app.

Interactive Map: Attendees can view an Interactive Map and pinpoint the exhibitor’s location on a map of the venue.  Also provides links to the exhibitor profile information in the Exhibitor module.

Messaging: The Messaging functionality enables attendees to contact other attendees at the event using either email and in app messaging.

My Briefcase: The My Briefcase module allows you to ‘bookmark’ your favourite documents for later viewing in the app or to email to a PC.
