IIt's the last stop on our road-trip and we have arrived at the Cape Town, or as it's commonly known, the Mother City. We're off to V&A's Food Market - a mecca for foodies and home to traders passionate about the fresh, local, organic, artisan and homemade produce they sell. Housed in the Waterfront’s Old Power Station the market is not to be missed. After lunch we head to Bo-Kaap, the most colourful area of Cape Town. Formerly known as the Malay Quarter, is the oldest residential area in Cape Town, famed for its brilliantly coloured houses and cobbled streets!
Every South African city has its own unique story to tell, and the best people to tell those stories are the locals themselves.
The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town is home to a wide range of exciting retail outlets, from well-known international brands to exclusive local boutiques.
If you’re looking for a book, a party, a delicious dinner or simply a long afternoon spent at an exotic bar watching Cape Town pass you by, then you need to be on Long Street, a place where music, food and fun are serious business.
