FFly like the wind on the world’s longest and fastest zip slide at Sun City, but look out for traffic cops because you’ll be exceeding the national road speed limit! With top speeds of 150km/h, if this ride doesn’t get your adrenaline pumping then your heart has probably stopped.

At 280m high and 2km long, you're guaranteed the ride of a lifetime when you try the Sun City zip slide, or Zip 2000. Operated by Unreal, a world leader in the design, construction and use of extreme zip slides, Zip 2000 is officially the world's longest and fastest zip line.

Did You Know?
TThe oldest person to do the Sun City zip slide so far was a Scottish grandmother of 84.

TTravellers with a yen for extreme sporting adventures cannot afford to miss out on this phenomenal ride when visiting South Africa.

TThe Zip 2000 at Sun City adheres to all necessary safety standards and is certified by the Department of Labour. Secured in two harnesses and suspended below a free-running trolley attached to a steel cable, you'll experience the feeling of flying and acceleration as you descend down the wire. Solo and tandem slides are available for anyone over the age of 12, making this a fun activity for the whole family.

Dubbed “a unique rope experience at length”, the Zip 2000 takes the original foefie slide (as zip slides are known by locals) concept to extremes. In Australia and New Zealand, these slides are known as flying foxes, while in the United States, they're called zip wires or aerial runways.

Sun City itself is the ultimate family holiday destination, boasting two world-class golf courses, while tennis, squash, various water sports and hot air ballooning are also all available. Sun City is also an entertainment paradise with world-class hotels, including the Palace of the Lost City, the Valley of the Waves Waterworld, an extravaganza theatre, casino, and various cinemas and luxury retail outlets.
