DDurban, South Africa – March 26, 2025 – Africa’s premier tourism trade show, Africa’s Travel Indaba (ATI) 2025, is gearing up to welcome industry leaders, media professionals, and tourism stakeholders from around the world. The much-anticipated event will take place from May 13 – 15, 2025, at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC Durban) in KwaZulu-Natal, with the Business Opportunity Networking Day (BONDay) on May 12, 2025.
South African Tourism is pleased to announce that media applications for hosted and non-hosted media are officially open, inviting journalists, broadcasters, and content creators to cover this iconic trade show that showcases the best of Africa’s tourism landscape.
Africa’s Travel Indaba is the continent’s leading leisure tourism trade show, designed to connect African tourism exhibitors with influential international and local buyers, destination marketing companies, and leisure tourism service partners. The event creates market access opportunities for African tourism products, enabling business growth and investment in the sector.
The 2025 edition is expected to build on the incredible success of previous years, bringing together global tourism professionals, African tourism brands, and media representatives for three days of impactful networking, business matchmaking, and destination showcases.
The event will kick off with BONDay (Business Opportunity Networking Day) on May 12, 2025, a dedicated platform for thought leadership and knowledge exchange. Developed in partnership with global tourism organizations, continental experts, and industry associations, BONDay offers a deep dive into emerging trends, sustainability practices, and digital innovations shaping the future of tourism in Africa.
Taking place in the host province of KwaZulu-Natal, Africa’s Travel Indaba is not only a trade show but a celebration of Africa’s diverse landscapes, cultural heritage, and tourism excellence.
